In 2016, we saw a glaring gap in the attractions industry. Seasonal operators—farms, pumpkin patches, and haunted houses—were trapped in a cycle of high annual expenses. They spent thousands every year on 'disposable' attractions like corn mazes that had to be replanted, redesigned, and rebuilt from scratch every single season.

We asked a simple question: What if an attraction could be permanent in its durability, but modular in its design?

We wanted to build something that required zero hourly staffing, survived the harshest Canadian winters, and could be reconfigured in an afternoon to keep locals coming back.

The Don-O-Ray "Living Laboratory

We didn't start by selling equipment; we started by operating it. Our first 7,000 sq. ft. prototype was deployed at fairs and festivals across British Columbia to test one thing: Family Demand.

The results were immediate. Families didn't just walk through the maze; they stayed. By adding a simple seating area, we turned a 10-minute walk-through into a 2-hour destination. Parents relaxed while kids ran the maze three, four, or five times.

In 2018, the maze found its permanent home at Don-O-Ray Farm Adventure in Kelowna, BC. This became our proving ground for structural integrity and long-term profitability.
